This large hospital campus in Croydon, a suburb on the outskirts of London, saw the Cityscape style as the answer to the problem of guiding patients and visitors through their complex layout.

European A4 (American Quarto) size, black and white copies were given to visitors at reception but the customer felt that the Cityscape illustration was so attractive that it was produced as coloured posters which now adorn the walls throughout the hospital.
